Robotics & Programming - Engineering & 3D Design
Robotics for children over 12 provides an excellent environment for developing skills that will be useful in the near future. Garage has designed two courses depending on the student’s skills and interests.
Robotics & Programming Masters is designed for kids who are looking for something more in programming and robotics. During a full 9-month academic year, the children are able to understand complex problems, how to simplify them and finally how to solve them. We work in a modern environment that attracts every technologically minded student.
Engineering & 3D Design Masters is designed for kids who like to create from scratch, to see their idea-design come to life. Through this specific program, students learn the basic principles of design and engineering culminating in printing their own product using a 3D printer.
Description - Robotics & Engineering
1. Robotics & Programming Masters
The course is divided into 4 2-month terms during which the children learn:
- to program and control complex robots
- to program and design complex automated systems
- to understand experientially the optimal programming solution in a modern environment
During each lesson, the children work in groups of 3-4 aiming at solving a specific problem, under the guidance of their teacher-coach.
The tools used during the year are the following:
Dash & Dot – WeDo – EV3 – GarageFloor
2. Engineering & 3D Design Masters
The course is divided into 4 2-month terms during which the children learn:
- the basic principles of design
- to design functional objects – industrial design
- to experientially understand the basic principles of engineering
- to experiential understand the principles of design through the 3D printing of their own design
During each lesson, the children work in groups of 3-4 aiming at solving a specific problem, under the guidance of their teacher-coach.
The tools used during the year are the following:
Knex – Powered Machines – 3D Model – 3D Design – 3D Printing – WizeFloor
Program
Each lesson lasts 90 minutes and can accommodate up to 12 children in the Programming class, and up to 8 children in the Engineering and 3D Design class. Each student can choose one or both of the programs.

ΤΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ ΣΠΟΥΔΩΝ ΤΟΥ GARAGE ΕΙΝΑΙ ΣΧΕΔΙΑΣΜΕΝΟ ΣΕ 4 ΠΥΛΩΝΕΣ
Παρόλο που τα μαθήματα στο GARAGE θα ενθαρρύνουν το παιχνίδι και τη διασκέδαση,
το περιεχόμενό τους βασίζεται σε συγκεκριμένη μαθησιακή ύλη.
Κάθε μάθημα έχει σχεδιαστεί γύρω από ένα συγκεκριμένο μαθησιακό στόχο που κοινοποιείται στα παιδιά στην έναρξη του μαθήματος ώστε να γνωρίζουν τι θέμα διδάσκονται σε κάθε μάθημα.
